DV Play 7.87 released. - DV Play est un logiciel de gestion de contenu utilisé dans les chaînes de TV pour tv automation.

Our development never stops; since 2018, we have had a TV Logger (built-in DV Play or stand-alone) that can record TV signals 24/7 for compliance purposes. One of the main purposes of such recording is to prove to advertisers that their commercials (video or graphics) have been broadcast on-air. With the new DV Play 7.87 version, we did the next step – instead of doing manual cuts (for example, with Adobe) from complaint recordings (they are typically 30 or 60 minutes) of recorded videos, we did this 100% automatically. And the system can accept direct exports from our AsRun log / AsRun (Graphic) log, meaning a combined video with all broadcasts for a specific commercial campaign can be done VERY EASY & FAST, with just several clicks. That represents a HUGE time saving and progress, and we recommend all DV Play customers upgrade and use it.

TV Logger (stand-alone) can work on a separate server, or directly on playout to reduce the cost of needed hardware. Cut from recording can be done on real speed, meaning if you need to cut 1 minute from recording, it takes 1 minute. Or it can be set to Full speed, meaning it is done 5-10 times faster than real time (depends on your hardware), note that this mode puts a serious stress on HDDs and is not fine if those same HDDs are used for playout. Different users can mix both modes.

Note: This Cut functionality is an extra module, meaning extra payment, but it saves so much time that it pays for itself in just a few months.

Fully re-design of DVB Captions. Teletext and DVB Bitmaps are now fully supported. You just need to have an .srt file with the same name as the video file.
